Billing & plans FAQ
Straight answers about subscriptions, changes, and data — for AITODEX customers.
01Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. Open Billing & Subscription in your account and cancel whenever you need. You keep full access until the end of the current billing period. Compare plans anytime on the pricing page.
02Can I downgrade to a lower plan?
Yes. Choose the plan you want on the pricing page — downgrades typically take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
03What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your projects and content are kept. Items that exceed the new plan limits may become read-only until you upgrade again or adjust usage.
04How am I billed for paid plans?
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider (Polar). You can choose monthly or yearly billing where available; yearly billing may include a discount. See the pricing page for current tiers.
05Do you offer invoices or receipts?
Yes. After checkout you can access receipts from your billing portal. Use the same email as your account for support-related billing questions.
06What is an AI credit and how is it consumed?
AI credits meter assisted actions such as generation, rewriting, summarization, translation, and similar model-backed operations. Exact consumption can vary by prompt length, model choice, and tool; your workspace shows remaining credits and plan limits.
07Can I export my work to PDF or Word?
Yes. AITODEX is built around professional export workflows, including print-oriented PDF output. Word export may be available depending on your plan and the current product surface — check the editor export menu for the latest options.
08Does AITODEX support Arabic and right-to-left (RTL) documents?
Yes. The editor supports RTL typography and mixed-direction content so you can produce Arabic-first documents or bilingual layouts. Always preview export because shaping and pagination can differ slightly across viewers.
09Is my document content used to train public AI models?
AITODEX is designed with privacy-minded defaults for production work. For the authoritative statement on processing, retention, subprocessors, and your controls, read the Privacy Policy and any in-product notices shown at account creation.
10Can teams use AITODEX for regulated or sensitive documents?
Many teams start with non-sensitive drafts and expand usage as policies allow. Whether AITODEX fits your regulatory context depends on your obligations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.). Review our policies, run your own DPIA where required, and contact us for enterprise questions.
11How do I get help if billing or login fails?
Use the support email shown in the footer and include your account email, a short description, and any error codes. For billing-specific issues, mention your plan and whether you checked out via Polar so we can route the ticket faster.
